Do The Math Division B: WorkSpace (Set of 8)
Do The Math, created by Marilyn Burns, is an arithmetic intervention program for students in Grades 1 through 8+. The program focuses on Number and Operations—the cornerstone of elementary mathematics instruction—and integrates computation, number sense, and problem solving to help your students catch up and keep up with grade-level content. The WorkSpaces are where students keep track of their mathematical reasoning and thinking. The WorkSpaces are the only consumable components of Do The Math and they come in sets of 8.
Do The Math rebuilds critical mathematical foundations for understanding and:
- Develops understanding of key concepts and skills with whole numbers and fractions—the essentials necessary for students to succeed in algebra and higher-level mathematics
- Provides lessons that balance developing understanding and learning procedures
- Strengthens students’ ability to make sense of concepts, solve problems, reason, and use appropriate tools
